I told Matt several times before surgery that I was worried about the anesthesia. I wasn't afraid of it not working, I was afraid of what I was going to say/do during the recovery. 10 years ago when I had my gall bladder out, I was in the recovery room begging the nurses for me to talk to the surgeon. When they asked why I told them because I needed to know if I looked fat in surgery (umm...a little unsecure?) I also asked if they had saved my gall bladder for my friend Suzy. This time around I didn't say anything I just cried uncontrollably telling the nurses how much pain I was in... NICE! I don't even remember the pain but I do remember the crying and saying over and over "I know I am being loud, but it hurts so bad." I asked the doctor about it later and he said I was pretty emotional. Oh well, I am sure he's seen worse.

LOL. Is it bad that I am laughing. Glad you are feeling better :)
Nice cast :)
That is funny, sorry to laugh at your pain but I am sure people say the funniest things after they come out of recovery. I remember asking the nurse if I could have cafe rio after one of my surgery, guess I was a little hungry. Hope you are feeling better!
Gimpy is a Grandma Burns word:) Glad you are on the mend! Wish you were here with the sunshine and no ice and snow.
Oh man that cast does NOT look fun for 8 weeks. Can you drive yourself around at least? I'm glad you got your foot fixed, but seriously that looks not fun!
HAHA...that is Hillarious. I always cry because I feel sorry for myself, but I do get extra emotional too. Oh Sharon, Hope you continue to feel better! Johnson gets husband of the year uh? so early in the year!! haha..Go Johnson! And also...It was sad not having you at the Shower, but COME on I totally understand you had other pressing things to do! Guess you'll just have to Gimp your way to Oregon if you're truly sorry!! haha, just kidding! But hope you continue to feel better!
LOL! Now you can't make too much fun of Matt's golfing surgery story. Glad you are doing better ... maybe you need some Dixie sunshine
I am laughing and laughing and laughing at(with?) you!! Glad you are feeling better!
Well, look on the bright side...2 days of puking helps with the insecurity of feeling fat on the operating table! :)
I don't envy you having to be on crutches for the next 8 weeks...and then to have to get back into the physical shape you were in prior to surgery...I'm just starting to find my way out of that one...
I hope you heal fast! I'm glad Matt is being good to you. Tell him Happy Birthday from us. I think his card might arrive late. Adam sent it Thurs. or Friday.
